Project 22, The Arc of Cumberland Valley
The Arc of Cumberland Valley is a four county chapter of the Arc of Tennessee that strives to create, organize and support activities and services needed to continually improve the safety and quality of life for citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Wilson, Macon, Trousdale, and Sumner Counties of Tennessee. Project 22 provides a place to meet new friends and learn new skills. Young adults, having aged out of high school at 22, have the opportunity to learn social skills, service learning, exercise, music/art activities and vocational skills in a fun, group setting. Project 22 meets every second and fourth Saturday at 3 p.m. at Hendersonville First Baptist Church, Family Ministry Center.
